@@img1Miami, FL – December 2006 – The holidays will never be the same again! Energy soda BAWLS Guarana has joined forces with International Design Partnership, Inc (IDP) to create “Goodness, Gracious, Great BAWLS of Wire,” a highly-anticipated entry in the 20th annual Festival of the Trees in Downtown Miami. BAWLS Guarana is one of the competition’s few non-design companies to participate in the creative event – an annual fundraiser in support of the Interior Design Program at Florida International University. BAWLS Guarana and IDP promise to shake things up at this year’s competition with a humorous showcase of one of the great Christmas annoyances.

“Goodness, Gracious, Great BAWLS of Wire” is an artistic interpretation, through a child’s perspective, of the hassle of untangling Christmas lights. The exhibit features a beautifully-designed mess of blue and clear Christmas lights strung inside BAWLS Guarana and BAWLS Guaranexx bottles in front of a 8 ft tall tree stand constructed by Rolu Woodcrafting. The final, colorful touch to the display is the debut of BAWLS-commissioned vocalist Bambi La Fleur’s holiday song “Deck the BAWLS!” With lyrics including ” the kids are snug all in their beds and you’re reaching for a beer, have a BAWLS and stay awake for Santa and his eight reindeer,” “Deck the BAWLS” is sure to be an instant holiday hit! “Deck the BAWLS” and the original BAWLS jingle were both composed by La Fleur and are available for downloading at

BAWLS Guarana CEO Hoby Buppert is excited to see his products light up the holidays. “Festival of the Trees has always been a beautiful and creative part of this city’s holiday celebrations and it has been fun to participate with IDP in the creation of this fun entry,” commented Buppert.
IDP Principal Bobette Rousseau invited BAWLS Guarana to sponsor their design for the 2006 Festival. “We really wanted to include a company not normally associated with architecture an interior design and we felt that the BAWLS Guarana products and packaging presented some very interesting design opportunities,” commented Rousseau.

“Goodness, Gracious, Great BAWLS of Wire” will remain on display to the public free of charge at One Brickell Square in Downtown Miami until December 28.

BAWLS Guarana is the brainchild of entrepreneur Hoby Buppert, CEO of Hobarama, LLC. Widely distributed to local supermarkets (Publix), convenience stores (7-Eleven), Target Superstores, CompUSA stores, paintball fields and gaming venues, BAWLS Guarana is a premium, non-alcoholic, carbonated beverage made from the guarana berry harvested in the Amazonian Rainforest. The caffeine found in BAWLS Guarana contains the same amount of caffeine as coffee and nearly three times that of traditional sodas due to a naturally occurring form of the stimulant found in the guarana berry.
