American Airlines to test Lipton, glaceau during flights

American Airlines will perform in-flight market tests on trio of products from America’s two largest beverage companies over the next three months.

American said in a press release Thursday that passengers on their planes will have the opportunity to buy Lipton Green Tea with Citrus in March, vitamin water in April and smart water in May.

The beverages will be available in 20 oz. bottles for $3 each as part of American Airlines’ food-for-sale program that started in early 2005.
