CINCINNATI, June 24 /PRNewswire/ — Beverages Holdings, LLC, the parent company of the Sunny Delight Beverages Co., Veryfine Co. and The Elations Company LLC, announced today that it has acquired substantially all the assets of Bossa Nova Beverage Group, Inc., a Los Angeles-based company that pioneered the “superfruits” segment of the beverage category with its original acai juice. Terms of today’s agreement were not disclosed.

Bossa Nova’s product line includes the original acai juice, as well as acai juice with blueberry, raspberry, mango, or passionfruit; mangosteen juice with passionfruit or dragonfruit; acerola juice with mango or red peach; and goji berry juice with tart cherry.
Bossa Nova’s use of the sustainably harvested crop, acai, represents a contribution to helping preserve the endangered Amazon rainforest, while providing a sustainable source of income for thousands of people across the Amazon river basin.
