Alan brings a long career in the processed food and protein industries, including senior management positions at J.R. Simplot, H.J. Heinz and McCain Foods. Alan will provide his expertise, relationships and advice on opportunities for 6Pacific Capital, which is seeking to add new investments to its portfolio.

More about Alan Kahn
Alan is an established food executive with over 20 years of experience in the food industry, with both public and private companies. Alan was most recently part of the leadership team at the J. R. Simplot Company as Vice President of New Product Marketing and New Business Development. While at Simplot, Alan led a number of significant strategic projects, including Simplot’s partnership with Overhill Farms and the acquisition of a large retail frozen food company in the Eastern U.S. Alan was also active in the management of Simplot’s Potato and Vegetable divisions, and he led the development of a number of new product brands.
Previously, Alan was a Director of Marketing at H.J. Heinz and McCain Foods, managing a sizeable portfolio of branded and private-label frozen potato products. While at Heinz, Alan was responsible for the development of one of the most successful new potato product launches, Brew City Fries, which delivered substantial sales growth. Prior to his marketing roles, Alan served in sales capacities for Ore-Ida Foods and Mrs. Crockett’s Kitchens, a prepared salad manufacturer.
