Silverwood Partners is pleased to announce that Jeanne Varley has joined Silverwood Partners as an Industry Advisor, further enhancing the firm’s deep expertise and experience in the food, beverage and consumer products sector. Jeanne has over ten years of beverage experience across both the alcohol and non-alcohol segments of the industry. She has previously held leadership roles at FIJI Water, Constellation Brands and Diageo/Guinness in addition to working at leading consulting firms L.E.K. Consulting and Beverage Marketing Corporation. She is currently an independent consultant to the beverage industry.
While at Beverage Marketing Corporation Jeanne executed a number of primary research studies to understand brand, consumer and segment dynamics in the United States beverage marketplace for clients seeking actionable, fact-based recommendations. Prior to joining Beverage Marketing, Jeanne was the Vice President of International Corporate Development for Constellation Brands. In this role, she provided strategic planning support in addition to working on a number of transactions in international markets. She successfully closed two transactions while at Constellation Brands, one in Ireland and one in France, and is credited with working on several transactions that closed after she left the company. Previously, Jeanne was the Director of Strategy for the Guinness business unit for Diageo North America. While at Guinness, her responsibilities included managing the strategic planning process. In addition, she managed a project to determine the overall RTD strategy for Diageo and handled the buyout of the Bass brand distribution contract by Interbrew.
Jeanne holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from LeMoyne College.
