WAT-AAH! Spearheading Anniversary Celebration of the “Let’s Move! Flash Workout

NEW YORK, April 26, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — On Thursday, May 3, 2012, WAT-AAH! will be spearheading the one-year anniversary celebration of the “Let’s Move! Flash Workout,” supported by the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) and 16-time Grammy Award winner, Beyonce. Students from over 400 schools across the United States will unite to celebrate the first anniversary commemorating last year’s event where kids across the globe were moving and dancing to Beyonce’s workout routine in support of Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move!” initiative to combat childhood obesity. Last year’s event included a surprise visit from Beyonce at Harlem’s P.S. 161, and First Lady Michelle Obama at Washington D.C.’s Alice Deal Middle School.

WHAT: In celebration of last year’s event, The Let’s Move! Flash Workout will unite children from across the country who will simultaneously get up and dance to the pre-choreographed dance/exercise routine performed to Beyonce’s “Move Your Body” to promote a healthy and active lifestyle for kids.

WHERE: At participating elementary to high schools across the United States.
