Atlanta – Kill Cliff™ – The Recovery Drink is proud to announce former U.S. Naval SEAL officer Chris Irwin as its President, effective immediately. Irwin comes to Kill Cliff™ with 16 years of military service as well as time in the private sector running his own business and working in business development.
“We are extremely excited to have Chris onboard. He brings with him a wealth of leadership experience and knowledge both as a Navy SEAL Officer and a civilian executive,” Kill Cliff Founder Todd Ehrlich said. “He is a successful entrepreneur and understands CrossFit as a business person and a competitor. We are excited to appoint Chris as President, as his outstanding military service and professional vision are directly in line with the Kill Cliff brand. His experience as a US Navy SEAL officer will ensure we carry on the core values of Kill Cliff in all our endeavors now and in the future. Plus, he is a distinguished graduate of the best military academy in the world, the United States Naval Academy, so you know he is strong. And he is related to Steve Irwin, the dead nature dude.”
Irwin is an active CrossFit competitor who will be making his second trip in as many years to the CrossFit Games Latin America Regionals this weekend. In 2012 Irwin finished 3rd in the Latin American CrossFit Regional Competition.
In addition to Irwin’s appointment, Kill Cliff has launched a new advertising campaign as well as a new website. Nationally, in support of Kill Cliff’s retail availability at GNC, commercials can be heard on XMSirius Satellite Radio on ESPN and CNBC. Comcast subscribers in the Southeast will see Kill Cliff advertisements sponsoring Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch, including spots during Atlanta Braves games. Additional national and regional advertising will continue to ramp up over the summer.
