BIRMINGHAM, Mich. – ON GO Energy today announced Ben Benjamin has joined the company as Director of Sales and Eugene Tennison has joined the company as National Sales Manager. The announcements were made by Derrick George, Founder and CEO of ON GO Energy.
In this position, Benjamin will seek to create greater brand recognition for ON GO Energy, deeper market penetration locally and nationally, and meet with distributors and retailers.
Prior to arriving at ON GO Energy, Benjamin served as the Director of Sales at Weeks Food Co. in Richmond, Mich.; Sales Supervisor, and later Key Accounts Manager and Regional Sales Manager, at Kar’s Nut Products in Madison Heights, Mich.; District Sales Leader for Frito-Lay, Inc. in Sterling Heights, Mich.; and Operations Manager at K&G Foodmart in Detroit.
A resident of Grand Blanc, Benjamin received his bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University. He is a former Associated Food and Petroleum Dealers board member and is currently involved with the Special Olympics and Grand Blanc High School Football Boosters.
In this position, Tennison will develop account strategies for national chain accounts and establish and manage long-term, team-oriented relationships with distributors and brokers.
Prior to joining ON GO Energy, Tennison served in numerous roles at beverage companies in Atlanta, including time as the Regional Sales Manager at Sage Beverage, Pre-Sales Representative with Pepsi-Cola and an Account Manager for Coca-Cola.
The Rochester Hills, Mich. resident attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas and the Capstone Institute of Mortgage Finance.
