Having secured a major round of financing, launched three new product lines, expanded distribution to 1,000 stores and recently bolstered its executive team, 2015 has already been a booming year in the development of cold-pressed juice brand Daily Greens.

Three months after landing a $3 million equity investment from WhiteWave Food Co., Daily Greens today announced the addition of a vice president of sales and marketing. Steven Gollob, who had previously held the role of vice president of sales for premium chocolate bar maker Chocolove, joined Daily Greens in March, according to his LinkedIn account.

In a press release announcing the appointment, Daily Greens described Gollob as having “over 20 years of CPG sales and marketing management success,” and hailed his role leading a 475 percent leap in revenue growth at Chocolove over a six-year period. At Daily Greens, he is now responsible for establishing and implementing the company’s marketing strategy and overseeing its sales team.

Prior to his work at Chocolove, Gollob was a managing director at Upshot Institute,  digital marketing consultancy, and an executive vice president at Thompson Brands, a manufacturer of chocolate bars and supplements. Daily Greens founder and CEO Shauna Martin praised Gollob’s “reputation of versatility and creativity,” and expressed confidence that he will bring “new energy and strategy to satisfy our company goals.”

“The opportunity to capitalize on the existing momentum at Daily Greens and grow with such an extraordinary company is very exciting,” Gollob said in the release. “We will be working to implement marketing strategies that support the company’s vision of making it possible for Americans to get quality, organic greens every day.”

Daily Greens markets a range of green juice products, and earlier this year introduced a new line of chia-infused green juices as well as a line of hemp milk products. At the 2015 Natural Products Expo West, the company unveiled Half Pint, a line of 8 oz. juice blends designed for kids, which launched nationally in Whole Foods last month. Daily Greens recently expanded distribution to the Northeast and its products are now sold in over 1,000 natural, specialty and some conventional grocer locations across the U.S.
