Cold-pressed juice brand BluePrint is continuing to enter new beverage categories with the launch of a new line of tea-infused energy drinks.
BluePrint, owned by natural foods conglomerate Hain Celestial, today officially unveiled a three-SKU line of energy drinks, powered by naturally caffeinated tea ingredients like guayusa, matcha and yerba mate. The new drinks are available in Whole Foods’ Northeast region and retailers in the New York Tri-State area for a suggested retail price of $2.99.

In March Galindez discussed the line extension in an interview with BevNET at the Natural Products Expo West 2016 trade show, saying the brand’s move into functional beverage categories, including drinking vinegars, kombucha and energy drinks, was prompted by syndicated research conducted with market research firm IRI.
“If it’s function and it’s beverage, we’re ready for it and it should be coming from BluePrint,” Galindez said.
The brand also introduced a shift in marketing of its juice products away from cleansing and toward specific functionality and day part uses, a move exemplified in updated branding for new line extensions. The new look is featured on the BluePrint’s new teas as well as its drinking vinegars and kombucha beverages, both of which launched earlier this year.

BluePrint® tea infused energy drinks incorporate superfood ingredients, such as turmeric, moringa and Lion’s Mane Mushroom, that are known to elevate your spirits. Sweetened with organic maple syrup, each bottle contains 45 – 50 calories, while caffeine is communicated via an “energy meter” on the bottle.
