ROSEMONT – Reyes Holdings, L.L.C. announced today that it has closed on previously disclosed agreements with The Coca-Cola Company for the granting of new distribution territories and acquisition of production facilities. Great Lakes Coca-Cola Distribution, L.L.C., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reyes Holdings, has officially been granted and formally transitioned additional distribution territories in Wisconsin and Minnesota, and acquired production facilities in Milwaukee, Wisc. and Eagan, Minn.
The closing of these transactions demonstrates the further strengthening of the company’s partnership with Coca-Cola and commitment to Coca-Cola’s 21st Century Beverage Partnership Model, a broad initiative aimed at building on system capabilities to sustain success.
“It’s been an exciting year for Great Lakes Coca-Cola and the momentum continues with the further growth of our presence in Wisconsin and Minnesota,” said Chris Reyes, founder and co-Chairman of Reyes Holdings.
“The completion of this transaction and expansion of our distribution territories and entry into production helps Great Lakes Coca-Cola better meet the needs of our customers in Wisconsin and Minnesota,” said Jude Reyes, founder and co-Chairman of Reyes Holdings.
Great Lakes previously announced letters of intent with The Coca-Cola Company for the further expansion of its distribution territory, as well as the acquisition of additional production facilities in Illinois and Michigan. With the closing of those transactions in 2017, Great Lakes will have exclusive rights for the sale and distribution of Coca-Cola beverages in the state of Michigan, and will have six production facilities across the Midwest.
Great Lakes is committed to working collaboratively with The Coca-Cola Company to implement a smooth transition with minimal disruption for customers, consumers and system associates.
