COLUMBUS, OH (December 12, 2016) – Award-winning recovery shot creator Life Support Development announced this week that they have finalized partnerships with Saverino & Associates, Inc. and KC Krafts. Both regional sales/marketing teams specialize in the convenience store channel and will focus on expanding Life Support’s distribution throughout the Midwest and West Coast.
“This move allows us to further penetrate the convenience channel across 30+ states,” said Brad McKean, Life Support President. “We are very excited to work with two of the best in Team Saverino and KC Krafts!”
Founded in 1982, Team Saverino is the top regional sales and marketing company in the Midwest. They specialize in convenience class trade marketing, and cover 19 states from Ohio to Colorado.
“We are excited about this partnership with Life Support and look forward to building the brand across our respective area,” said Frank Saverino, Jr., Executive Vice President.
KC Krafts is a leading convenience store brokerage operating out of Brush Prairie, WA. They deliver sales support and store service to 15 states throughout the West Coast.
“We are looking forward to working with Life Support,” said Larry D. Van Aalst, President. “We feel that recovery shots will be an emerging category, and Life Support is going to be a leader in that category.”
Earlier this month, Life Support announced record growth through the first ten months of 2016, reporting significant YTD numbers of 527% growth. The company has signed over 23 new retailers this year, including 7-Eleven, Casey’s General Store, and Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, adding to their already impressive roster of nearly 10,000 locations. Life Support attributes recent growth to a growing understanding and acceptance of the recovery shot category, and to nationally recognized accolades, including their recent Best New Product Award. To meet the rapidly increasing market demand for its recovery shot, Life Support has partnered with best-in-class distributers like McLane, Core-Mark, HT Hackney, and Eby-Brown, and has also grown its work force by more than 40% this year.
At the close of the year, Life Support will roll out a new product, Life Support Red Label. The new line extension features their flagship ingredient, Hovenia Dulcis or Japanese Raisin Tree Fruit, but adds 190 mg of caffeine, a new berry flavor, and has 0g of sugar. The product will be marketed as a hangover relief and healthy recovery shot.
