DRY Sparkling Announces Three Additions to Executive Team

Seattle, WA (September 13, 2017) – DRY Sparkling, creator of beautifully refreshing, culinary-inspired sodas, today announced the promotion of Ed Lilly to executive vice president of sales, as well as the additions of Jim Flood as vice president of sales strategy and Anna Johnson as vice president of operations. The new roles were implemented to further strengthen the company’s trajectory of growth and innovation.

“As one of the fastest growing craft soda brands in North America, it is essential for DRY to have the leadership of strategic thinkers with diverse backgrounds, team building skills, and a passion for the CPG world. We couldn’t be happier with the executive team we have assembled,” said Sharelle Klaus, CEO/Founder of DRY Sparkling. “DRY has come a long way from the days of working out of my kitchen over a decade ago, and we now are attracting some of the best talent in the industry. I am honored to have Ed, Anna and Jim join DRY’s team.”

Lilly, who has been promoted to executive vice president of sales, originally joined DRY Soda Co. in 2015 as the brand’s Western region vice president of sales. With more than 20 years of experience in the CPG industry, Lilly now oversees DRY’s distribution growth, strategic customer management, sales team development, and leads the creation of the company’s annual operating plan for the US and Canada. Prior to joining DRY, Lilly held roles at PepsiCo, CytoSport/Hormel, and Speedway.

Flood joins DRY Soda Co. as vice president of sales strategy and brings a wealth of experience in leadership, strategy, sales, marketing, and finance to his new role. Prior to joining the DRY team, Flood was vice president at Chobani, Inc., where he led critical projects across all areas of business strategy and was actively involved in a successful $750 million capital raise. An avid believer in providing today’s consumer with better food and beverage options, Flood has also held leadership positions at PepsiAmericas and Procter & Gamble.

Johnson joins DRY Soda Co. as vice president of operations and is responsible for the company’s supply chain and product development activities. Johnson brings more than 15 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics and supply chain planning across the retail, consumer products and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to DRY Soda Co., Johnson held several key roles at Starbucks, including plant operations director for their Kent, WA coffee roasting and tea blending facility, and director of distribution for their North American ambient warehousing network. Johnson holds a master of business administration degree from the University of Washington Foster School of Business.

In addition to these executive hires, DRY will be creating and filling new field sales roles to continue to build business in key metro regions across North America. For additional information about DRY Soda Co., please visit www.drysparkling.com.
