Watermelon Habanero is available in ready-to-drink (RTD) bottles at establishments that carry Aqua ViTea, which currently total over 1,500 stores, restaurants, schools and hospitals in more than 20 states. Like all Aqua ViTea flavors, Watermelon Habanero is organic and gluten-free.
“Bring on the ‘Sweet Heat!’” said Aqua ViTea Founder Jeff Weaber. “We think that Watermelon Habanero shows that you can make fun, approachable and delicious Kombucha that still maintains its authentic properties. It’s exciting that every day more and more people are recognizing the benefits of Kombucha as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle.”
Weaber noted that all Aqua ViTea’s flavors, including Watermelon Habanero, are non-alcoholic (under 0.5% Alcohol by Volume). Aqua ViTea uses a Spinning Cone Column, typically used in winemaking, to extract alcohol without using heat, which allows the Kombucha to retain its natural flavor and properties.
In addition to launching Watermelon Habanero, Aqua ViTea will make its fan favorite Peachmint available on tap. In only six months, Peachmint has become one of Aqua ViTea’s most popular flavors.
“So many Americans demanded Peachmint on tap that we had no choice but to follow the will of the people,” said Weaber. “With Peachmint and now Watermelon Habanero, we have flavors in bottles and on-tap to satisfy every taste bud – from the most experienced Kombucha drinker to someone trying it for the first time.”
Founded in 2007, Aqua ViTea is a premium beverage maker located in Middlebury, Vermont. Aqua ViTea makes 10 flavors of organic, gluten-free, non-alcoholic Kombucha, which is never pasteurized and contains natural probiotics. It also produces organic, gluten-free Aqua Vodka created from the alcohol extracted from its Kombucha.
