SEATTLE — Teavana is introducing a new line of sparkling ready-to-drink (RTD) iced teas. Teavana Sparkling Craft Iced teas are bubbly iced teas that deliver refreshment with the finest teas and botanicals, cane sugar and no artificial flavors. Starting this week, new Teavana Sparkling Craft Iced Tea will be available at select Northeast and Midwest grocery retailers.
Teavana Sparkling Craft Iced Teas come in two refreshing flavors:
- Blackberry Lime Green Tea: An exuberant blend of green tea, lime peel and berry flavor bursting with a bubbly kick of live-out-loud goodness – and just the right amount of sweetness.
- Unsweetened Peach Nectarine Green Tea: Tantalizing notes of white peach and nectarine plus hints of lemongrass and hibiscus crackle with a bubbly kick of live-out-loud goodness – all without any added sugar.
Following last year’s RTD Craft Iced Teas launch, Teavana has sold over 4 million bottles in partnership with Anheuser-Busch, and this is the newest extension since launching two unsweetened varieties – Unsweetened Meyer Lemon Black Tea and Unsweetened Strawberry Apple Green Tea.
The addition of sparkling iced teas to the RTD Teavana Craft Iced Tea line comes as consumer interest in sparkling beverages is on the rise. The sparkling water category alone saw overall sales revenue increase by 16.1 percent over the course of one year, according to IRI data*. Teavana’s first ever sparkling iced teas provide both current and new RTD iced tea consumers more ways to enjoy iced tea on-the-go. The bubbly iced teas are brewed from the finest teas and botanicals with no artificial flavors.
