This Week’s New Products: Nitro Pepsi, Light Tropicana and Spindrift’s New Flavor

What this week lacked in volume of new products, it made up for with releases from some of the leading names in major categories like juice, sparkling water and kombucha, not to mention soda.

Tropicana

The juice maker is releasing two new additions to its Light line: Berry Colada (pineapple, strawberry and coconut) and Tropical Sunrise (mango and passionfruit). Both are available in 52 oz. bottles (MSRP $2.79) at retailers including Ahold, Kroger and Wakefern.

GT’s Kombucha

The newest addition to GT’s SYNERGY line is Peach Paradise Kombucha, which boasts a “sunny, succulent, delicate peach and tropical red papaya profile,” according to the company.

Spindrift

Balancing depth of blood oranges with the bright sweetness of real squeezed tangerines, Spindrift’s latest flavor — Blood Orange Tangerine — is meant as an homage to the brand’s community of “Drifters,” or “people who don’t just settle, they seek the unique.” Next week, Spindrift will be giving away 1,000 packs of Blood Orange Tangerine every day at random to their most loyal “Drifters.”

Pepsi

Three years after touting its debut on draft, Pepsi has released a canned RTD version of its nitrogen-infused signature soda, available in Draft Cola and Vanilla Draft Soda. Nitro Pepsi will roll out nationwide on March 28.

Graasi

Lacking a bit of barley in your water? Not anymore. Graasi Barley Water is a new line of waters infused with barley grass juice powder. The line is available at grassi.com in 16 oz. bottles in three flavors: Citrus Mint, Cucumber Lime and Lemongrass Ginger.
