LALO, one of the top ten fastest growing spirits in the United States (Nielsen, May 2024), announces the launch of our first national campaign, See New. The campaign will live through digital, social, in-stream ads on Paramount & Peacock, retail, and on-premise nationally to showcase the spirit, beauty and culture of modern Mexico. The new campaign coincides with our fifth anniversary and nationwide expansion, celebrating LALO as one of the fastest-growing spirits in the country.
“See New brings the modern-day Mexico I know and love to life; it showcases the essence of my home country and all that it has to offer from art and style to tequila, and everything in between,” says David R. Carballido, Chief Brand Officer and Co-Founder of Lalo. “LALO embodies our commitment to innovation, tradition and our Mexican culture, and See New brings that vibrancy to life like never before. As we mark our fifth anniversary, we raise a toast to Mexico’s spirit, which can be found in every sip of LALO Tequila.”
LALO Tequila was founded by Eduardo “Lalo” González, the grandson of Don Julio, and David “R” Carballido, two friends who grew up together in Mexico and share three generations of tequila-making experience. They set out to create the purest expression of tequila that would honor their heritage and ancestry. LALO is Crafted with just three ingredients; champagne yeast, handpicked agave from the Jalisco highlands, and water.
LALO Tequila’s brand ethos is artfully captured through See New, which depicts the essence of modern-day Mexico including its unique style, design, and culture, all while highlighting Mexican creatives. The narrative of the new campaign tells the story of a group of friends who exalt their essence alongside LALO on the quest for ‘the new’, and was created to connect with consumers who are passionate about discovering the latest brands. See New was shot on location in Valle de Bravo, Casa Héctor Barroso and styled by Chino Castilla. Models wore designs by the first ever Mexican LVMH Award Semi-Finalist, Patricio Campillo.
The campaign will be on display at retail locations throughout the U.S. including Aspen, the Hamptons, New York City, Los Angeles, and more. For more information, visit lalospirits.com or follow @lalospirits on Facebook and Instagram.
