The “Ready to Shake” Brand Celebrates the Season and its
Accelerated Global Growth

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Oct. 8, 2024) – XXI Martinis (Twenty-One) came onto the ready-to-serve scene nearly three years ago with delicious premium vodka martinis handcrafted by a legendary Las Vegas bartender, and it’s toasting to exponential growth and delicious holiday offerings. XXI Martinis is going global while doubling the markets its in since this time last year. To top off the year, its limited-edition Chocolate Peppermint Martini is hitting shelves in time for the holidays, and it released 100 ml bottles of the other martini flavors for adult stocking stuffers or a party on-the-go during holiday travel.

“What started as a simple passion of bottling up the most delicious pick-me-up drink I ever tasted and catching the wave of the upward trend of in-home alcohol consumption, has turned into the most incredible collection of flavored martinis that has hit its stride and isn’t slowing down,” says Shannon Keeran, co-founder of XXI Martinis. “We’re going places, literally as we expand to new locations and positionally as we grow the ready-to-serve industry on- and off-premise.”

XXI Martinis Brings the Perfect Pour Across the Country and More

In 2022, XXI Martinis launched with a subtly sweet, decadent, and unapologetically bold, “ready to shake” espresso martini in three states -- Ohio where XXI Martinis is produced and bottled, Nevada where today MGM Resorts and Casinos continues to be one of its biggest accounts, and Kentucky that is key in the spirits industry.  A year ago, XXI Martinis expanded to five martini flavors and reached 14 markets. Today, it has rolled out a 100 ml bottle offering for $4.99 in select markets, the martini line is offered in over 30 states and Caribbean Islands, and it’s preparing to ship products to Vietnam and Singapore. It plans to add 11 states in 2025 and continue expanding globally.

While purchasing prepared cocktails is the unlikely avenue for bars and restaurants, XXI Martinis discovered that the labor-intensive espresso martini is the exception. It has become the go-to ready-to-serve martini in over 4,000 on-premise accounts. Half of its sales is coming through that channel, with the other half off-premise. XXI Martinis is offered in thousands of retail stores across the country including Total Wine & More, Giant Eagle, Meijer’s and Lee’s Liquors. It will hit the shelves in select Kroger’s family of companies (Food4Less, Smith’s, Fry’s, Ralph’s) early 2025. Customers nationwide can conveniently order XXI Martinis online.

“The espresso martini, now the second most popular cocktail in the United States behind only the margarita, is a complicated cocktail to make, and most recipes require four to five ingredients,” says Angelo Bottley, co-founder of XXI Martinis and legendary Las Vegas bartender.  “We put those ingredients into a bottle and perfected the taste -- making it much easier, faster and hassle-free for bars, restaurants, and people at home to now enjoy a great, premium, consistent espresso martini.”

XXI Martinis Turns Any Holiday Moment into Magic

Beyond the flagship espresso martini, XXI Martinis offers delicious flavors for every occasion, taste, and vibe. In time for holiday entertaining and gifting, XXI Martinis Chocolate Peppermint Martini has just arrived and it won’t be here long. The seasonal, limited-edition flavor is available until the New Year and it offers a festive blend of rich, velvety chocolate and cool peppermint. The first sip delivers a creamy chocolate flavor, balanced by the refreshing kick of peppermint, creating a delightful contrast. The premium vodka provides a smooth, clean finish, while the minty sweetness lingers on the palate, evoking a holiday-inspired treat. It includes 6 ready-to-serve martinis per bottle, is 15% ABV, is gluten free and is priced at $34.99.

“There’s an alternative to the mundane hostess wine gift, and holiday gatherings don’t have to be stifled with messy and time-consuming cocktails. The XXI Martinis Chocolate Peppermint Martini comes in a beautiful bottle, delivers liquid joy and festive spirits as a dessert-like martini with a twist of seasonal freshness, and it brings the perfect pour every time,” says Bottley.

XXI Martinis also offers its year-round delicious espresso, chocolate, raspberry and peach martini flavors in a 750 mL bottle, as well as its new 100 ml bottle for $4.99 at select locations. The mini bottles full of big flavor are the perfect adult stocking stuffer, a brilliant way to pack a to-go party wherever you travel during the holidays, or offer a martini flight when you don’t want to choose just one.
