Better Than Booze Saddles Up for a Second Year at Iroquois Steeplechase

The brand known for its delicious spirit-free beverages returns as official ready-to-drink mocktail sponsor of 2025 Iroquois Steeplechase


NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 14, 2025) — Better Than Booze, the Nashville-based non-alcoholic beverage brand known for its premium ready-to-drink mocktails, is proud to return as the official ready-to-drink mocktail sponsor of the Iroquois Steeplechase for the second consecutive year. The iconic event will take place May 10 at the Equestrian Center at Percy Warner Park in Nashville, attracting more than 25,000 attendees for a day of high fashion, horse racing and philanthropic impact.


Tailgaters and attendees can expect a refreshingly fun twist on tradition as Better Than Booze debuts an expanded activation for the 2025 event. From roaming giveaways to mocktail variety packs, the brand will infuse the infield with vibrant energy and delicious, alcohol-free refreshment. Its signature Refresh Crew — a team of blue-polo-clad brand ambassadors riding branded golf carts — will circulate throughout the grounds, handing out Better Than Booze’s top-selling flavors: Rosemary Grapefruit Paloma Non Alcoholic Mocktail, Mint Mojito With Lime Non Alcoholic Mocktail and Elderberry G & T Non Alcoholic Mocktail. Better Than Booze’s CBD + THC beverages will also be available at all bars throughout the event.


In addition, visitors to the Better Than Booze tailgate will be able to sample the brand’s lineup of cocktail-inspired drinks, snap photos at an Instagram-worthy branded backdrop, and enjoy a moment of refreshment between races. Select VIP influencers will also receive curated goodie bags filled with Better Than Booze favorites, perfect for sipping and sharing in style.

Each year, the Iroquois Steeplechase draws tens of thousands of spectators to Nashville to witness world-class horse racing and support a meaningful cause. Hosted by the Volunteer State Horsemen’s Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, the event has raised more than $11 million since 1981 for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Staff and board members are actively involved with the hospital year-round, providing time, resources and support.


Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital is a nationally recognized 343-bed facility dedicated exclusively to pediatric care. The hospital offers everything from common treatments to advanced specialty services, including Centers of Excellence for diabetes and congenital heart disorders, the region’s only level 1 pediatric trauma unit, and the highest level NICU. As a nonprofit, the hospital treats children regardless of their families’ ability to pay.
