See the Elephant Amaro Expands Distribution Footprint

Through Partnership with International Wine & Spirits, Louisiana

New Orleans, LA, April 28, 2025 – See the Elephant Amaro, the award-winning Italian amaro made from arugula, is proud to announce a new distribution partnership with International Wine & Spirits, Louisiana, one of the state's largest and fastest-growing wholesale distributors of wine, spirits, and more. This collaboration marks a significant step in expanding See the Elephant’s presence throughout Louisiana, bringing its bold, art-forward Amaro to bars, restaurants, and retailers across Bayou State. See the Elephant is a uniquely delicious amaro made from arugula, which creates amazing dessert flavors like tropical fruits, dark chocolate and even bubblegum!

“New Orleans has always been one of my favorite cities—it has soul, cocktail history, grit, respect for craft and appreciation for unique flavors like See the Elephant. That’s why partnering with International Wine & Spirits of Louisiana made perfect sense. They know the landscape, they know how to move with purpose, and they understand what it takes to build a brand in a place that doesn’t just follow trends—it sets them.” says Kyle Harder, founder of See the Elephant.  “Their extensive reach to bars, restaurants and liquor stores has had an immediate impact on the brand.”

See the Elephant has already gained local attention with feature cocktails at renowned bars and restaurants.  The Elysian Bar is featuring “The Rag Picker” cocktail, which is See the Elephant Amaro, Fair coffee liqueur, pineapple rum, lemon, and egg white.  Shaya has created a wonderful cocktail called “Oleo-phant in the Room” made with ginger infused Japanese whisky, See the Elephant, grapefruit peel syrup, and grapefruit juice.  These cocktails along with other great placements in bars and restaurants such as Bar Tonique, Jewel of the South, and Nightbloom are a few outlets where you can already find See the Elephant Amaro.  Keep an eye on the See the Elephant store locator for additional information on locations where you can find, try and buy See the Elephant.

Furthering the focus on building See the Elephant in Louisiana, the brand is thrilled to announce its official partnership with Tales of the Cocktail® for 2025, the world’s premier cocktail festival. As part of the celebration, See the Elephant will sponsor a lively happy hour on Monday, July 21, from 4–6 PM at a bar to be announced soon. Guests can expect fun unique cocktails, some bold New Orleans flavors, good company with industry friends, and more See the Elephant kind of fun in the heart of New Orleans.

See the Elephant Amaro is a rucola style amaro made in southern Italy, which is where they grow most of the lettuce in Italy and why See the Elephant’s main ingredient is arugula.  In addition to arugula there are some other herbs and spices that give See the Elephant a unique taste of root beer, caramel, bubblegum and finishes with a clean pepper spice.  Its versatility makes it ideal for sipping neat, enjoying on the rocks, or mixing cocktails such as a Black Manhattan.

See the Elephant Amaro is sold in 750ml bottles at 30% ABV.  See the Elephant is distributed in 16 states and available for shipping through the website.  The website also offers more information on the brand.

About See the Elephant Amaro:

See the Elephant is a rucola style amaro, made from arugula on the Cilento coast of southern Italy. See the Elephant uses unique ingredients to show with each sip that getting off the beaten path is where real adventure lives.  See the Elephant means to go out and experience life firsthand.  Made from a generations old recipe, bottled at 30% ABV or 60 proof, the taste profile is a bittersweet full-bodied botanical with vanilla and caramel sweetness growing into an aromatic finish following the trajectory of a night well spent and a life well lived. Drink now & command a common joy. More information is available at elephantamaro.com.
