Coca-Cola Consolidated and The Coca-Cola Company Extend Partnership with NC State University Through 2035

NC State University, in collaboration with Wolfpack Sports Properties, has renewed its long-standing partnership with Coca-Cola through a new 10-year pouring rights agreement. The updated contract runs through July 31, 2035, building on a relationship that began in 2008.

This renewed agreement reflects a shared commitment to enriching the student experience and supporting NC State’s academic, athletic and environmental initiatives for years to come.

As part of the agreement, The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola Consolidated will invest to support NC State students through fellowships, internships and scholarships.

“Coca-Cola is a legendary brand, and we’re proud to continue this long-standing partnership that enhances the NC State experience,” said Lisa Marie Ferrell, chief communications and marketing officer for NC State University. “From scholarship opportunities to brand ambassadorships and campuswide visibility, this collaboration aligns with our mission to build strong, values-driven partnerships that elevate the NC State brand.”

Through its ongoing sponsorship of NC State Athletics via Wolfpack Sports Properties, Coca-Cola Consolidated will also expand opportunities for students and student-athletes in name, image and likeness (NIL) and brand ambassador programs.

“We are pleased and proud that the university will continue the partnership with Coca-Cola Consolidated for campus pouring rights,” said McMurray Family Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan. “This long-standing relationship has delivered meaningful value to both parties, and we look forward to building on that success. Coca-Cola Consolidated understands and amplifies our brand and remains an excellent fit for the university as a whole.”

The renewed partnership extends beyond beverage services, supporting various opportunities across the university.

“Coca-Cola Consolidated has consistently delivered value, variety and service as well as support of campus activities,” said Rich Berlin, associate vice chancellor of campus enterprises. “This agreement enables us to continue offering a comprehensive beverage program with a strong university partner.”

The partnership also places a strong emphasis on sustainability. The Coca-Cola system will continue its commitment to support educational initiatives, resources and programming aligned with the university’s sustainability goals.

“We appreciate the passion and enthusiasm of the NC State Wolfpack and are excited to continue as the beverage provider to create even more iconic memories with NC State students, fans and alumni,” said Heather Hucks, vice president of consumer connections at Coca-Cola Consolidated.
