Spade Launches in 245 Walmart Stores Across California

Spade, the better-for-you, zero sugar soda brand redefining the category with clean ingredients and bold flavor, will officially launch in 245 Walmart locations across California beginning January 5, 2026. Spade's Yuzu-Lime, Kiwi-Strawberry, and Guava flavors will be available in the retailer's Modern Soda set.

This rollout represents a major leap forward in Spade's mission to make better-for-you soda widely accessible. With a solid presence in natural retailers like Fresh Thyme, Bristol Farms, and Foodland — and early traction in conventional channels through select Albertsons banners such as United and Market Street — Spade's entrance into Walmart significantly expands its reach, bringing its refreshing, electrolyte-enhanced sodas to a broader, more mainstream audience.

"This partnership allows us to introduce Spade to even more people looking for a zero sugar soda that delivers on taste and simplicity. Walmart is a key partner in helping us scale our mission, and we're grateful for the opportunity to be part of their Modern Soda set."

Spade is crafted with just six simple ingredients—no artificial ingredients or preservatives—and is sweetened with a premium extract of stevia. Every can is enhanced with electrolytes, making it as versatile as it is crushable: great as a daily soda alternative, a post-workout refreshment, a better-for-you cocktail mixer, or non-alcoholic alternative.

Since launching in 2023, Spade has become one of the fastest-growing brands in the better-for-you soda space, recently ranking as one of highest velocity players across U.S. grocery according to NielsenIQ. Through its partnership with CleanHub to fight ocean-bound plastic waste and the brand's growing national footprint, Spade has also been recognized as the 2025 Mindful Awards "Soda Product of the Year" and a recipient of KeHE's OnTrend Award, as well as UNFI's UpNext program.
