Chlorophyll Water’s roots are deeply connected to the wellness community, making the brand a natural fit for Nourishing Change. Launched in 2020 with a mission to bring cleaner, greener functional hydration to consumers, the brand first gained traction in yoga studios and wellness-focused spaces, including serving as the official United Nations partner for International Yoga Day, before expanding through a nationwide partnership with Alo Yoga and into select Barry’s, Equinox Hotels, Anatomy, Pure Barre, and other fitness and wellness studios across the country.
“We’re incredibly honored to be selected for the Nourishing Change Emerging Brands Competition,” said Matt Levine, Founder of Chlorophyll Water. “Kroger and Hy-Vee are two of the most respected names in grocery, wellness, and retail innovation, so to be chosen from such a competitive group of applicants is a meaningful recognition of the momentum we are seeing around Chlorophyll Water. From our early days in yoga studios to our growing national retail footprint, our mission has always been rooted in wellness, transparency, and sustainability. Consumers are looking for cleaner, greener, functional, better-for-you hydration, and we believe Chlorophyll Water is uniquely positioned at that intersection.”
Chlorophyll Water has experienced significant growth across retail, e-commerce, and social commerce, driven by rising consumer demand for functional beverages and Clean Label Project Certified products. Chlorophyll Water is the first bottled water in the U.S. to pass Clean Label Project Certification, meaning it has been independently tested for over 90 contaminants, including heavy metals, pesticide residues, plasticizers, and other environmental toxins. The brand is made with ultra-purified water, chlorophyll sourced from alfalfa, and vegan vitamins A, B12, C, and D.
Sustainability is at the core of Chlorophyll Water’s brand message. The brand uses bottles made from 100% recycled plastic, features CleanFlake™ label technology to support recyclability, and is Plastic Neutral through its partnership with rePurpose Global. Chlorophyll Water is also set to launch its new aluminum can format in June 2026 with Misfits Market.
