Kentucky craft brandy makers Copper & Kings have reached an agreement with Savannah Distributing Co. to get their brandy and absinthe products in retailers throughout the state of Georgia. This marks the eighth state now carrying Copper & Kings, with the Peach State joining Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee and its home state of Kentucky.
They’re not the only Southern small batch spirits making moves. Hailing out of Durham, N.C. Mystic Bourbon Liqueur has announced that it will now be available at 100 Virginia ABC stores by the end of the year. The company is planning to introduce the product to Virginia consumers via tasting events at stores, festivals and restaurants.
Back to Kentucky, Ambrabev, LLC of Danville are launching their Boteco Ultra-Premium Cane Vodka in four major U.S. markets. The new ultra-premium vodka comes by way of Brazil, where it is distilled from 100 percent sugar cane and blended with spring water from the mountains of Rio de Janeiro.
