Spirits Gallery: Ready-for-Winter RTDs

No matter what you are celebrating this December, we can all be happy for one shared reason: 2020 is finally ending. In the spirit of starting next year off with a touch of optimism, in this gallery we raise our glasses in acknowledgement of the latest ready-to-drink releases from the likes of Dry Fly, 503 Distilling, Cutwater Spirits, ‘Merican Mule, Troop and Mayne & Co., along with newly launched Blue Blazer.

Blue Blazer

Blue Blazer

Aiming to bridge the gap between bars and restaurants and consumers drinking at home due to the pandemic, Chicago-based Blue Blazer has launched its first product line: a range of bar-branded (from Windy City spots like Lula Cafe and Pub Royale) and white-label ready-to-drink cocktails, available for local pickup and through third-party delivery apps. Drinks include Old Fashioned, Margarita, Bloody Mary and Moscow Mule, among other types.

Dry Fly Distilling

No need to sit by the fireplace this winter when you have one of these, the latest release from ‘Merican Mule. Made with Bourbon, natural cinnamon and the brand’s own ginger beer, Fire Mule (7% ABV) is available now in 4-packs for $12.99-14.99.

Cutwater Spirits

Cutwater Spirits

It’s not nog, but Cutwater Spirits’ latest RTD cocktail release, White Russian, feels appropriate for the holiday season. Made with Cutwater Vodka and house-made coffee cream liqueur, the new year-round offering (coming in at 14% ABV) is available in 4-packs for $12.99.

Mayne & Co.

Mayne & Co.

Promising “handcrafted canned cocktails with a modern twist,” Mayne & Co. this month is launching its first product: the Modern Mimosa, a new take on the classic recipe featuring sustainably produced Italian wine and organic organic juice from California. Each 250 ml can (10% ABV) contains 120 calories. The line is available for purchase now via the company’s website in 8-packs ($80), 16-packs ($160) and 24-packs ($240).

503 Distilling

503 Distilling

The first in a series of small batch, full-strength cocktails in 200 ml cans, 503 Distilling’s Mt. Hood Old Fashioned features rye whiskey paired with Vermont maple syrup and a dash of bitters from The Bitter Housewife, clocking in at 40 proof. The line is available now through select Oregon liquor stores and at all Whole Foods stores in the state of Washington.

Troop

Troop

Now available at stores in California and Colorado, RTD cocktail brand Troop has launched in three varieties: Bourbon Smash, Rum Mojito and Gin Spritz, each sold in 200ml single-serve cans. The 10% ABV line is also available direct-to-consumer nationwide in 8-packs ($36) and 24-packs ($96).
