Aloic is an organic aloe vera juice beverage made with aloe vera gel and powder. Manufactured in Korea, Aloic has a slightly less sweet tasting flavor than some of the other aloe vera drinks that we've sampled. However, thanks to the use of grape flavoring, theres a pretty heavy grape flavor to the formulation. Were not overly fond of this approach, with the added flavoring undermining and masking the natural flavor of the aloe. Otherwise, it's moderately sweet thanks to the use of cane sugar and there are bits of pulp throughout. Visually, the brand feels like a commodity driven beverage, with a very similar look and feel to the many other aloe drinks that are in this exact same bottle. That said, theres nothing about Aloic's flavor or brand that a consumer can really latch on to. And then theres the name, Aloic. Its one of those words that doesn't have an obvious pronunciation and it sounds very generic. Coming up with a fresh brand and doing something to differentiate the flavor are the most obvious places that Aloic could do to start to improve this product.
