ITO EN, the world’s leading green tea beverage company, today announced it will launch a lineup of new ice-steeped cold brew ready-to-drink teas across two award-winning beverage brands, matcha LOVE and TEAS’ TEA Organic at Natural Products Expo West on March 9-12, 2017.
Betting that consumer demand for cold brew will percolate beyond coffee and into the RTD tea segment, Ito En North America has developed a new range of “ice-steeped” cold brew teas. The company will debut the products, which stretch across three of its brands — matcha LOVE, TEAS’ TEA Organic and Oi Ocha — at the upcoming Natural Products Expo West 2017.
Amid growing consumer demand for organic beverages, Ito En North America today announced a new USDA certified organic formulation and revamped branding for its Teas’ Tea line. Ito En will debut the updated line at the 2017 Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, which begins this Sunday.
CVS is now stocking many better-for-you beverage brands in 450 of its stores as the next stage in its health-conscious rebranding that initially began in 2014.
FORTUNE also recognized ITO EN for their recycling of tea leaves, transforming 49,000 tons of used tea leaves from their beverage production into 50 million cardboard boxes for its own products annually.
The Japanese inspired flavors are fitting to TEAS’ TEA as it was created from the Japanese expression Ocha no Naka no Ocha- “The Tea of ALL Teas!”
Oi Ocha, Japan’s #1 selling bottled green tea will also be distributed nationwide.
Made with 70% coconut water from young coconuts harvested from Southern Thailand, the new Matcha Colada has no added sugar and is sweetened naturally with coconut water.
The Matcha LOVE brand offers an array of products to include Ceremonial Matcha powder, Culinary Matcha, teabags and ready-to-drink Matcha shots.

The championship is judged by a panel of professional cuppers and retail tea buyers assessing through blind organoleptic analysis on characteristics such as Flavor, Body, Color, Clarity and Balance.
Available in three unsweetened flavors — Traditional, Ginger and Vanilla — the teas will be packaged in 16.9 fl oz BPA free PETE bottles and are naturally zero-calorie with no artificial colors or additives.
