While Ocean Spray’s White Cranberry Juice was found, in our product review, to have a rather unpalatable taste when consumed by itself, the bar scene may end up helping this product solidify it’s place in the market. Specifically, a new drink called “The White Cosmopolitan” has become a hot new item at bars in the Northeast. “Many of my customers have started asking for the ‘White Cosmo’. In addition, a nationwide rollout of the product is definitely helping this product’s potential to gain market share. However, the product is still being sold at an introductory discounts, so the true test will come once the product goes to full price.
How to make a White Cosmopolitan:
Ingredients
2 oz citrus vodka
4 oz white cranberry juice
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz sugar water
Shake ingredients with ice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with an edible orchid, if desired.
