Earth Water and lululemon athletica set to “Dig 100 water wells in one weekend”

WHEN: ))Saturday March 21st and Sunday March 22nd, the Weekend of World Water Day. In 1992, the UN General Assembly designated March)22 as “World Water Day” to draw international attention to the critical lack of clean, safe drinking water worldwide.

SUPPORTING: )United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Founded in 1951, UNHCR )))is one of the largest aid organizations in the world. UNHCR supports more than 30 million ))refugees in 110 countries by fulfilling the most basic needs for survival.

WHO: ))Earth Water International and lululemon athletica. Founded in 2004, Earth Water is a bottled water company that donates 100% of their profits to UNHCR to provide refugees with access to clean drinking water.

WHERE:))Earth Water bottled water will be displayed and sold in select lululemon athletica stores across Western Canada. Each store will have Earth Water representatives available to answer questions about the product & company.

WHAT:)Throughout the weekend, lululemon athletica store educators will be spinning, running and doing yoga, alongside displays of Earth Water, and Earth Water volunteers. For a minimum donation of $2, lululemon customers will receive a bottle of water, with all profits going towards digging 100 wells.
