BevNET Review: Once again, a classic Dr. Brown’s beverage. The Black Cherry flavored Dr. Brown’s soda is another one of our favorite beverages of all-time. It’s lightly carbonated and not too sweet, which can’t be said for most sodas on the market today. The black cherry flavor makes it smooth and easy to drink. Finally, we must say that we suggest that you get it in a bottle and not in the can format…it tastes much better.

Dr Browns

I grew up accustomed to being served Dr Browns soda at the various delis that I loved so much. Now, here in Orlando they have Dr Browns in the ethnic aisle and charge $1.65 a can for it. Who can afford to try it? Norm Gertz

Black cherry is not only tastey, but it's good for you.

I drank Dr. Brown's while growing up in NJ, it was a royal treat with my corned beef on Rye. Now in the deep south of S/E Virginia, they never heard of it!!! Fools. my Cardiologist advised me just yesterday to drink the diet variety of this soda, since in does have medicmal values. Oh she is also from the North east!! Trouble is, I can't find it down here. Thank goodness for the internet. JerseyMikeSr.

I think you should try Boylan's Black Cherry

Not so great when compared to Boylan's. Boylans uses normal sugar from sugar cane as a sweetner while Dr. Browns uses High fructose Corn Syrup. Maybe this is why Boylan's is so much better... Ingredients: Carbonated Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Cherry and other Natural Flavors, Citric Acid, Caramel Color, Sodium Benzoate (Preservative) and Artificial Color (Red 40). I am sure the pre-70's Dr Browns used normal sugar...

The Best Black Cherry!

Dr. Brown's makes the best black cherry soda I have ever tasted! And I agree with BevNET -- it's MUCH better in bottle, not can!
