The new products include non-perishable versions of the brand’s existing SKUs, including Original Bananamilk, Unsweetened Coconut Oatmilk, and original and vanilla bean versions of its Unsweetened Almondmilk. The milks retail for $4.33 per 1 liter carton while the creamers, available in Banana Nut, Oats ‘n’ Creme and Vanilla Bean flavors, sell for $3.74 per 11 oz. Tetra Pak.
Plant-based dairy maker Mooala announced today it has raised $8.3 million in a Series A financing round led by Sweat Equities. The round brings the three-year-old brand’s total funding to more than $13 million. The round also includes additional financing from M3 Ventures, which led Mooala’s $5 million seed round last year.
The company known for its scrumptious Organic Bananamilk and Almondmilk varieties, announced the launch of a delicious line of organic, plant-based creamers made with a base of coconut cream and almonds with no added sugars.
While Oatly is currently front and center in oat milk, it is facing an increased competition as brands including Quaker Oats, HP Hood, Silk, Califia Farms, Happy Planet, MALK, Elmhurst Milked, Rise Brewing Co., and Mooala all showcased their respective innovations at Expo West.
