Suja CEO: Vive Acquisition Provides Big Share in Juice Shots

Following its acquisition of Vive Organic, cold-pressed juice maker Suja is aiming to become a giant player in the 2 oz. shots space. The two California-based companies announced yesterday that Suja has purchased Vive for an undisclosed fee, marking the first acquisition by Suja since it was itself acquired by private equity firm Paine Schwartz Partners last year.

Coke Acquires BodyArmor for $5.6B [Updated]

The Coca-Cola Company announced today that it has acquired full control of sports drink maker BodyArmor for $5.6 billion, its largest acquisition to date. The beverage giant is exercising its option to purchase BodyAmor in full at a pre-existing discount, as included in a 2018 deal that gave Coke U.S. distribution rights to BodyArmor and a 15% stake in the brand.
