The base of the product is still cold-brew coffee with hemp and coconut milk, but the body of the product is less viscous than it was in the past. The result is something that’s not only easier to drink, but also lower in calories (200 per bottle versus 290 for the old formulation). The other flavors, which include the Oana turmeric, raw honey, cardamom, sea salt and vanilla provide the flavoring. It’s definitely not your run-of-the-mill flavored coffee, with the combination of flavors resulting in something completely unique. Even if it takes your palate a few sips to get used to the flavor, the salty and sweet thing that the company has created is pretty easy to get into. For us, this is a really nice crossover product for the brand, and it’s also one of the more innovative and enjoyable cold-brew products out there. Visually, we like the adjustments that the company has made. The Temple Turmeric brand feels like something that’s more polished than Tumeric Alive was, while the addition of an orange cap and metallic label make the packaging shine. Overall, this was one of our favorite products in the Tumeric Alive line, and it’s still one of our favorites with this latest revision.
