Review: Aqua Probiotic Seltzer

Produced by Vermont-based kombucha brewer Aqua ViTea, Aqua Probiotic Seltzer is a recently launched line of flavored sparkling waters that are infused with the company’s organic kombucha. This line is the company’s answer to the growing number of shelf-stable sparkling line extensions that have recently emerged from the kombucha category.

Review: Llama Mama

Llama Mama is a new line of organic sparkling beverages that are enhanced with prebiotics and antioxidants through the use of Peruvian superfoods camu camu and yacon. The product line comes in three flavors, including Clementine, Cherry Berry and Lemon Lime, each 45 calories and no added sugar per 12 ounce can.

Bawi is a recently launched, Texas-based brand of sparkling agua fresca beverages. The initial lineup features three flavors, including La Piña, El Limón, and Maracuyá.

Review: BeGOAT Cascara Functional Beverage

BeGOAT is a new line of sparkling functional beverages that are powered by cascara. The product seven flavors, all of which contain only 25 calories and 5 grams of sugar while delivering a potent 200mg of caffeine. BeGOAT is packaged in a slim 12 ounce can.

Launched as a DTC product in January 2022, Perfy is a line of low-sugar sodas in 12 oz. cans that are enhanced with nootropics and adaptogens. The brand is launching in three flavors: Blood Orange, Tropical Citrus, and Fruit Punch.

Review: St. Agrestis Phony Negroni

Brooklyn-based distiller St. Agrestis recently introduced its first ready-to-drink non alcoholic cocktail, known as “Phony Negroni.” The product is lightly carbonated and is packaged in a 6.8 ounce glass bottle.

Launched in 2021, DRY Botanical Bitters & Soda is marketed as a zero-proof and zero sugar beverage that offers “the complexity and ritual of a craft cocktail without the alcohol.” It’s the third product line from DRY Soda and joins a handful of brands that are actively marketing bitters and soda products.
