Honest Tea, the best-selling brand of organic bottled tea, has launched a new line of organic citrus quenchers named Honest Ade. The first two varieties: Cranberry Lemonade and Limeade, were introduced at the National Restaurant Association show in Chicago on May 21st. The company has already shipped out orders to its national network of distributors.
@@img1Heading the new product design was Flowdesign of Detroit, MI. The challenge for us was to separate the new “ADE” line from the “TEA” without losing the Honest brand image said Principle of Flowdesign, Dan Matauch. We explored several different directions including a centralized letter filled with art similar to the Tea line, but after conducting feedback the decision was to made to depart from that look. However, the overall label window depicting the Honest name was kept, utilizing green to match the new green colored cap. Custom photography of large fruit slices were placed on a two toned colored backgrounds along with the USDA Organic seal.
For the past two years Honest Tea has been ranked in Inc. magazine’s annual list of the 500 Fastest Growing Companies in the United States.
