Coca-Cola is looking to launch a new drink in the U.K. with a name that has a slightly familiar ring to it: Ipsei.
This hasn’t set well with rival PepsiCo, which claims the name sounds too much like “Pepsi.” The company says it might take legal action over the name.
The beverage, a mixture of water, grape juice, vitamins and herbal tea, was launched by the company in Holland and Germany last year. Ipsei will carry the tagline “Think what you drink.”
The name Ipsei is suppsed to be a derivative of the Latin word ‘ipse,’ meaning self. Or is that Latin for Pepsi?
