@@img1Source Beverages has added distribution for its BURN Energy Drink in the Bay Area of California and the Caribbean.
Energy Source Distributing will handle retail distribution of BURN2 16oz energy drink in five counties covering from San Jose to Santa Clara to Monterey in Northern California. Additionally, it is expanding the territory for Dry Creek Beverages, an existing BURN distributor in Modesto, to include Tuolumne and Calaveras counties.
“Energy Source has shown an incredible aptitude for placing BURN into retail stores, and we’ve already received approval for over one hundred 7-11 stores throughout the Bay Area,” said Tyler Benedict, President and Founder of Source Beverages.
“Combined with our four other NorCal distributors, Energy Source allows us to provide BURN from Fresno, CA, to Oregon border, and west to Reno.”
Source Beverages has also signed T&L Marketing to handle export of BURN to the Caribbean, including all of the U.S. and British Virgin Islands.
“We showed our customers a variety of U.S. brands, and the only one that stood out was BURN,” said Leroy Decosta, President of T&L Marketing. “Their packaging and flavor appeals to the customer base there perfectly. We expect to move a lot of volume very soon!”
These distribution acquisitions come on the heels of BURN’s recent distribution deal with I.H. Caffey in North Carolina, which lost Monster on October 2nd.
Source Beverages will be hiring a full-time promotional manager for the Northern California market in early 2007 to support its growing distribution base there.
