Geneva, NY – Red Jacket Orchards President Brian Nicholson today announced his third generation family farm will be utilizing B.C.S. International Corp (d/b/a Royal Food) to expand sales of its 100 percent fruit juice line in Metro New York. Long Island City based BCS specializes in bringing natural, organic, and specialty foods to over 2,400 retail customers along the east coast, with a special emphasis on the metro region.
“We are delighted to be working with BCS as we continue to grow our fresh from the farm juice line in the New York marketplace,” commented Brian Nicholson. “It is exciting to see consumption of our all natural juices grow from humble beginnings in Union Square farmer’s markets almost 20 years ago to being accessible to consumers on the shelves of thousands of New York’s delis and bodegas.”
Red Jacket Orchards is located in New York’s Finger Lakes region and has been owned and operated by the Nicholson family since 1958. The orchards freshly pressed juices and ciders were first introduced in New York’s Greenmarkets in 1992 and were called “Best-on-the-planet” by Zagat in 2010. They are never from concentrate; no water, no color, and no flavoring added. The healthy 100 percent juice line includes Fuji Apple, Grape Apple, Cranberry Apple, Strawberry Apple, Blackcurrant Apple, and Raspberry Apple, as well as freshly pressed nectars and apple cider. Unfiltered, the juices maintain the natural fruit fiber making them the closest beverage to whole fruit on today’s refrigerated drink shelf, and come packaged in 12 and 32 ounce sizes.
“We are proud to add Red Jacket Orchards juices to our all natural product line,” stated BCS President David Yoo. “The freshness, flavor, and health benefits of these locally pressed juices rival anything the west coast has to offer. We plan to utilize our extensive experience in launching natural beverages to introduce the first real fresh drink to hit the shelf since Naked juice in 2001”
Since it’s founding in 1989 B.C.S. has been focused on customer satisfaction by providing products and services meeting or exceeding their expectation and needs. B.C.S services over 2,400 customers and manages more than 6,000 SKU’s.
