Aloha Friday Beverage Company Receives Patent and Trademark for “Jet Lag Beverages”

November 5, 2012 — Aloha Friday Beverage Company, Inc. announced today that the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) granted Jetway Inc., the former name of Aloha Friday Beverage Company, Inc., the patent for “A Fortified Beverage for Minimizing and/or Preventing Jet Lag”. It was published in the USPTO Register on September 25, 2012. Aloha Friday Beverage Company, Inc. owns the patent for the next 20 years.

Aloha Friday Beverage Company, Inc.’s invention consists of a proprietary line of vitamin, mineral and herb enhanced ready-to-drink beverages specifically designed to target relief and prevention of jet lag symptoms. The patent states, “jet lag symptoms include but are not limited to fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, constipation, diarrhea, confusion, dehydration, headache, irritability, nausea, sweating, coordination and circulation problems, and even short term memory problems.” The invention includes various methods for preparing fortified jet lag beverages using iced tea, water, powder packets, and cap enclosures, etc.

Aloha Friday Beverage Company, Inc. was granted the trademark for “Jet Lag Beverages” on January 10, 2012. It uses the standard mark; i.e., Jet Lag Beverages™, and it is listed in the USPTO Supplemental Register. Aloha Friday Beverage Company, Inc. owns the trademark indefinitely.
