WEST CHICAGO, Ill., (June 29, 2012) – The Jel Sert Company, makers of fun foods, announced today that it has acquired the SUPER C, PURE KICK and ZOIC functional beverage brand names from Solis Brands, Inc.
Jel Sert is a prominent consumer packaged goods food manufacturer that has been selling powdered soft drinks, freezer bars, dessert mixes and ready-to-drink beverages for over 80 years. Fitting with the company’s strategy of expanding into health and wellness platforms, the acquisition will allow Jel Sert to provide functional beverage options with brands that have been established in the marketplace.

SUPER C is a vitamin and mineral powdered drink mix that delivers functional ingredients in addition to a healthy boost of vitamin C and antioxidants. PURE KICK is an endurance energy drink mix with a proprietary blend of electrolytes, vitamins and amino acids to enhance performance and energy. ZOIC is a ready to drink nutrition beverage that provides antioxidants, protein and 26 essential vitamins and minerals.
