Maker of Skinny Water Joins Efforts to Support Type 1 Diabetes Research

(OTC BB: SKNY.OB), the maker of Skinny Water® and a leader in the zero-calorie, zero-sugar enhanced water category, announced today that is has entered into a one-year national partnership with JDRF, the global leader for finding cures and treatments for type 1 diabetes (T1D), to raise funds for T1D research. Skinny Nutritional Corp. will also provide on-site support for 12 designated JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes events around the country. .
Skinny Nutritional Corp. will provide hydration stations at partnering JDRF chapter events to drive trial and awareness of Skinny Water beverages. The company is committing over 50,000 bottles to support the JDRF community, and its brand ambassadors will provide product samples, coupons, and other activities to promote the partnership. The designated markets include Skinny Water’s home-base, Philadelphia, PA in addition to: Boston, MA; New York, NY; Washington, DC; Richmond, VA; Charlotte, NC; Palm Beach, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Las Vegas, NV; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA. Skinny Water also plans to promote their JDRF support through retail partners including Target, Walgreens, CVS, Harris Teeter, Draeger’s and D’Agastinos.
