Jade Monk Launches in Rocky Mountain Region Whole Foods

AUSTIN, Texas — With the recent discussion of matcha from Dr. Oz and Cameron Diaz, interest in matcha and its health and energy benefits has started to quickly take take hold in the U.S. Poised to take advantage of this quickly growing trend is Jade Monk, a new On-The-Go, flavored and lightly sweetened, powdered Matcha tea based beverage, designed for ease of use/convenience and mixed into a water bottle (cold water). Having anticipated the acceptance and interest in matcha, Jade Monk is quickly expanding its market penetration, launching into the Rocky Mountain Region of Whole Foods Markets via UNFI.

“The beauty of our product is that unlike traditional matcha, our flavors appeal to tea drinkers and non-tea drinkers alike, making it a more versatile option for retail merchandising and consumers” comments Co-Founder Cort Bucher.

Sold as a 6ct (SRP $7.99) or 12ct POP/POS (SRP $1.49 per packet) recent retail merchandising options have seen success in the tea aisle, water aisle, register POP/POS and water enhancer aisle.
