Premium mixer and soda brand Q Drinks has announced new partnerships with three liquor wholesalers, including those representing California, Michigan, Georgia and Louisiana, as it builds upon a focused distribution strategy that leans on partnership marketing with spirits producers.
Q Drinks products are now distributed by Young’s Market in California, Glazer’s in Louisiana, and Republic National Distributing Company in Michigan and Georgia. Q Drinks founder and CEO Jordan Silbert said that the wholesaler partnerships will enable the company to build upon its efforts to work closely with spirits brands on consumer marketing promotions. He noted that that Q Drinks has relationships with three major spirits producers and several independent brands.
“We are thrilled to partner with the nation’s leading liquor distributors – they are helping us better meet all the demand from bars, restaurants, and liquor stores for our products,” Q Drinks CEO Jordan Silbert said in a press release. “With the right distribution in place, we are now working more closely with the best spirit brands on programming and consumer marketing.”
Cross promoted with spirits brands, Q Drinks is building consumer awareness both on- and off-premise. Silbert said Q Drinks products are represented at nightclubs, restaurants and bars nationally, something that keeps the company’s three co-packing facilities busy producing its fast-growing tonic and ginger beer mixers. However, he noted that Q Drinks is selective about its retail partners, seeking volume and velocity where it best fits the brand, something that plays into its strategy with wholesaler partnerships.
“It’s more important to be with really good distributors, and support them in the right way, than to be everywhere,” Silbert said.
