As this category has grown, branding and innovation have become more important elements for both large producers like WhiteWave and Califia Farms, and for smaller upstarts, including Pop & Bottle, Malk, and Three Trees. On the innovation front, some brands are turning away from high pressure processing, while others are looking beyond traditional almond milk, using cashews or pistachios as ingredients.
