GENEVA, N.Y.– Cheribundi Inc., the leading producer of tart cherry juice products, has announced significant changes to the company’s executive leadership team.
Steve Pear, CEO since May 2014, has left the company to pursue other interests. Mike Hagan, current COO, will assume the interim CEO role, and potentially fill the position long term. Hagan and Pear successfully established a national footprint for the Cheribundi brand, extending the Cheribundi product line and growing retail sales.
After joining the company in November 2018, CMO Michelle Grech has also left the company to pursue other interests. Grech led marketing initiatives to innovate the brand visual identity and brand packaging, as well as develop national partnerships to further brand awareness.
“We appreciate the contributions of Steve Pear and Michelle Grech over the last several years and wish them well in their future endeavors,” said Hagan in a statement released by the company.
Hagan joined Cheribundi in March 2015 with over 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Having held leadership positions within Coca-Cola, Pepsi-Cola, National Beverage and others, Hagan brings a broad library of expertise in all phases of sales and marketing, operations, supply chain management, finance, P&L performance, strategic planning and acquisition due diligence.
Under the leadership of Hagan, Cheribundi will focus on supply chain optimization and building out the company’s direct to consumer business.
