Wildwonder, Le Mini Macaron Toast to ‘Feeling Good’
We love it when two entrepreneurs come together — even more so when they bring drinks.
This month kicks off with exactly such a collaboration: Rosa Li, founder of prebiotic/probiotic soda brand Wildwonder, and Christina Kao, the co-founder of nail brand Le Mini Macaron, have teamed up to create a bright new flavor, Cherry Lemonade, and an accompanying nail kit.
Before deciding on a formal collaboration, the pair bonded over their shared experience as female AAPI founders. Stanford graduate Li has built Wildwonder into a potent independent player in the red-hot “modern soda” space, while Kao is the co-founder of popular 15-minute, at-home gel manicure brand Le Mini Macaron.
“This collaboration is all about joy—bold flavors, bright colors, and feeling good from the inside out,” said Li. “Christina and I wanted to create something that celebrates our roots and brings a little everyday magic to people’s routines. Cherry Lemonade is a flavor close to both our hearts, and pairing it with a playful polish trio just felt like the perfect way to toast to AAPI heritage, female founders, and fun.”
Cherry Lemonade draws inspiration from Kao’s “lemonade summers” in Alabama and Li’s “cherry-picking trips to Beijing.” The new flavor joins a 12 oz. can lineup alongside Guava Rose, Strawberry Passion, Mango Gold and Peach Ginger.
On the other side of the collaboration, there’s a co-branded Le Mini Macaron x Wildwonder nail kit ($25) featuring three lacquers including Cherry Lemonade (coral pink), Blue Vanilla (pastel blue) and Lemon Sorbet (bright yellow); there’s also the same kit plus a pack of mini nail stickers for $30.
This marks Wildwonder’s second LTO collaboration, following the release of Banana Queen with RuPaul Drag Race winner Nymphia Wind last summer.
Almave Helps Make Margs Safe For Work (MSFW)
Cinco De Mayo is all about tequila, but it doesn’t have to be, says Almave.
With the holiday falling on a Monday this year, the non-alcoholic agave spirit created by Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton is looking to provide workers with some in-office relief: enter the Almave MSFW Margarita Cooler, a unique watercooler-style dispenser ideal for midday celebrations. The company is giving away a select few, if you act fast.
818 Hits the Gas with NASCAR Star
The Jenner beverage empire is expanding into national sports marketing as 818 Tequila aligns with NASCAR driver and model Toni Breidinger as her primary sponsor.
The partnership will debut on May 30 at Nashville Speedway with Breidinger – NASCAR’s most followed athlete at over 5 million fans, per a release – sporting full car and gear branding from 818. There’s also “influencer-driven content” and a VIP experience available for fans.
The 25-year-old Breidinger is also a brand ambassador for Celsius.
Tate’s Gets Happy
Cookies tend to make people happy, and likely so should this collab.
Packaged coffee brand Happy is teaming with premium cookie bakery Tate’s Bake Shop on a limited product collection that sees each doing what it does best, across a range of products available exclusively at Walmart, Happy’s original launch partner.
That includes Happy’s RTD dairy-based lattes in 11 oz. cans and its pre-ground packaged coffee, both of which will get indulgent Chocolatey Chip as a new flavor. On the food side, check for Vanilla Latte Cookies marketed under the Tate’s banner.
Brew Dr. Backs Natl. Park Trust
In response to unprecedented and ongoing budget cuts to the National Park Service, Brew Dr. Kombucha is aiming to provide much-needed support to the National Park Trust.
All 4-packs of Brew Dr.’s Clear Mind blend support the Trust, which works to preserve public lands, create outdoor access and inspire future explorers. The product is available at retailers including Whole Foods, Kroger, Vons, Target and Walmart.
“Our parks are sacred. They’ve inspired so much of what Brew Dr. is about—slowing down, breathing deep, and finding peace in nature,” said founder Matt Thomas in a release. “If funding is being pulled, we’re stepping in. It’s that simple. This partnership is our way of giving back to the land that gives us so much.”
