Virgina Dare Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15, 2011)
Virginia Dare’s Marketing Department has recognized the rapid growth of the Hispanic population of the U.S. and their cultural influence on the eating habits, foodways and lifestyles of the mainstream American population.
The Marketing Department, by means of primary consumer research (one-on-one interviews, focus groups, community based research work, surveys, etc.) has developed an expert knowledge of flavor and food product preferences for Hispanic-American consumers and for Hispanic inspired products for mainstream consumers. Virginia Dare’s flavor creation and applications staff has been able to translate these consumer insights into great tasting products for the company’s customers.
