July 5, 2024 Southeastern Roastery Coffee is offering attendees of Essence Festival the rare chance of creating their own personalized coffee profile made from the shape of their body!
Southeastern Roastery, at the New Voices Village Makers' Studio at Essence Festival in New Orleans, is catering to Black Women who love coffee and fashion! The company is honoring the many shapes and curves of women by using what fashion has used for many years to bring light to every woman's unique beauty. Unlike fashion, this coffee company is doing this through taste flavor.
Candy Schibli, CEO and founder describes, "we'll be tracing the curves of participants and then taking these traces back to our coffee roastery to create personalized coffee profiles for everyone that joins us! We're really excited and think this offers a unique opportunity in coffee with a low barrier to entry - you just show up as you are."
After tracing and make the coffee roast profiles, participants have the opportunity to purchase their personalized coffee on Southeastern Roastery's website. If you are attending Essence Festival July 4-7 in New Orleans, make sure to download the E360 App to get the schedule and time of this creative, interactive workshop and design a coffee unique to you!
Southeastern Roastery is a USDA Organic Certified and minority women owned coffee roaster in wholesale, retail, eCommerce and white-label out of Baltimore, Maryland.
