Louisville, Kentucky – April 23, 2025 – Rolling Fork Spirits announces a third release of their small batch bourbon, Bourbon de Luxe. Batch 3 of Bourbon de Luxe is the first release in the Bourbon de Luxe Vintage series, which will feature ultra-aged bourbons in limited quantities.
“When we revived the brand, our guiding principle was high quality Kentucky bourbon meant to be enjoyed with good friends,” said Rolling Fork Co-Founder Turner Wathen. “The strong reception to our early releases definitely gave us the confidence to expand the product line a little bit when the right bourbon came our way.”
Rolling Fork selected four barrels of sixteen-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon distilled in Frankfort, Ky. for the third batch of Bourbon de Luxe. Bottled at cask-strength (126.1 proof), it offers notes of vanilla, caramelized sugar, and tobacco that balances with notes of seasoned oak and cedar.
“When the 16-year-old bourbon became available to us, our first thought was that it would be really fun to match the old Prohibition label of Bourbon de Luxe,” said Rolling Fork Co-Founder Jordan Morris. “However, we wanted to make sure the quality of the bourbon would be memorable for customers, so we went and tasted through the entire lot of available barrels to find the perfect four barrels for the profile we love in older whiskey.”
The third release of Bourbon de Luxe is limited to under 500 bottles and is available April 25 exclusively on Seelbachs.com for $299.
About Bourbon de Luxe:
Bourbon de Luxe traces its roots back to 1911. The brand survived Prohibition after being acquired by the R.W. Wathen Co. in 1926, and it was folded into American Medicinal Spirits Co. portfolio in 1927 (one of six permit holders to sell medicinal whiskey). The return of Bourbon de Luxe in 2024 marks the revival of this historic brand, which follows the motto created by the Wathen family in 1788: No Finer Spirits Can Be Made.
