Seven Episodes Showcasing the Unhurried Side of Italy Now Available to Millions of Travelers Across Europe

AUSTIN, Texas — Sept. 28, 2026 — Nonna Wisdom, Gratsi's original series filmed across Italy, has made its airline debut this month on Volotea's in-flight entertainment platform, bringing episodes to millions of travelers across Europe. The series spends time with nonnas, fishermen and craftspeople, taking viewers into family kitchens and everyday communities to capture the traditions and unhurried rhythm of Mediterranean life.

Volotea's in-flight entertainment lineup features seven episodes exploring Florence, Rome, Calabria, Tuscany, Ponza, Naples and Procida, giving travelers a taste of authentic Italy before they arrive. Previously only available through Gratsi’s YouTube channel, the series now expands to passengers across Volotea’s European network.

Named Europe's Best Low-Cost Airline at the 2023 and 2024 Skytrax World Airline Awards, Volotea serves approximately 11.4 million passengers annually across 60 destinations in Italy, Spain, Greece, France, Portugal and beyond.
